Howard is one of the partners of KSO Accounting Group. Howard earned his CGA designation in 2002. Howard has over 20 years of public practice experience. He was born and raised in Prince George and is involved with our local CPA chapter. He has also been involved with Toastmasters International for the past 15 years.
Janice began her career in public practice working for her father-in-law, Bill Karpes. Janice is our ‘Jill of all trades’, performing any and all tasks around our office including bookkeeping, payroll, tax returns. In her spare time she enjoys training for and competing in triathlons and tromping through the trails around Prince George.
Tania joined our firm in February 2012. She is the friendly face greeting you at our front desk and is a wonderful asset to our team. Her interests include music and dance, but her main focus is now her young daughter.
Stefan joined our firm in February 2015. Stefan received a diploma with honours in Accounting and Finance in 2013. When he’s not crunching numbers, Stefan enjoys chasing a little white ball around one of our local golf courses and playing the guitar. Stefan also spends his free time volunteering.
Bruce has had a long history with Karpes & Co. He originally began as a partner with Howard’s Dad before starting his own firm. He initially received his CGA designation in March 1985 and has been in public practice ever since. Bruce currently provides services for our firm from Keremeos. When he’s not crunching numbers you can find him bocce curling (carpet bowling) or traveling with his wife Ruby. He also volunteers his time bookkeeping for the Similkameen Christmas Hamper Fund.
Wendy received her CGA designation in 2003. Wendy provides services to our firm from her office in Vernon. Wendy is active in the community as a member of Vernon Silver Star Rotary where she has a position on the board of directors. Her interests include travelling with her husband, scuba diving, underwater photography, cycling and taking care of her two very active border collies.
Kelcie joined our firm in 2006 as a CGA student. She earned her CGA designation in October of 2010 along with her Bachelor of Commerce degree (Honours). When Kelcie isn’t running around after her young son, she enjoys going to the gym or relaxing with a good book. Kelcie provides services to our firm from her office in Kelowna.
Hugh joined our team in September of 2006. He received his CMA designation in 1979. He provides emergency communication for EMBC - Emergency Management British Columbia. In his downtime Hugh enjoys the great outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing or hiking.
Thomas earned his CGA designation in 2011. Thomas has over 10 years of public practice experience. He was born and raised in Prince George and is involved with our local CPA chapter. In his spare time, Thomas enjoys reading and travel.
